What is the relation between the two worlds of politics and business, so different in outlook, yet so common? Do they ever meet? The chances are not rare, but on the contrary is maximum since there exists a reciprocal need between the two for the smooth function in a democratic setup. Now what is the real intention of politics? Forget the pompous predictions of class interests, working as the vanguard of the proletariat or the cause of national development. The chief orientation of the political spectrum is to snatch and equalize power. But without the advocacy of an effective monetary strength it is without any aim and he necessary will. On the contrary the core philosophy of business deals with money since any business, of whatever magnitude is about money but at the same time it also demands a secure presence, that in real terms is synonymous to consorting with power and therefore with the realm of politics. Other than this there is also another similarity and that is that both of them require the presence of the citizen, either as a client or a voter. In respect of theory, the notion of the freedom of choice of the citizen happens to be nearly perfect. However, in reality or in practice both of the disciplines of business and politics happen to resort to all sorts of techniques for attracting its clientele or the general supporters through media, celebrity endorsements, movie starts, appeals to passion, sentiment and psychology, and so on, and so forth.
On the other hand a business since is in a constant need of security can't even contrive to disassociate itself from politics, because that is where the power is. Even to some specific business houses it is profitable to sustain rather close working relationships with politics. The chief reason being the separation of the two is next to impossible especially when one is faced with a sturdy and reactive situation. Last but not the least both the business and politics have ample chances to interact and they can influence each other through many ways.
